this is the finished product of about 10 hours of love labor. my friend is really into pink and so is her 11 month old daughter. she hasn't seen the blankie yet but i have a feeling that she will LOVE it.

Today I was playing with Kordell and he was 'fighting' my hand with his. cute. He would push my hand away with his and we were tugging on one another's hands. all of a sudden i let go of his hand and it had this crazy rubber band action going, he smacked himself right in the mouth. HILARIOUS!! He was totally smiling so i kept the action going and rubbed his fist over his lips and started making all those 'mommy' faces and sounds. blblblbllblblblb, dabadabadabadaba, yoppydoppychoppy and other scrunched up-face noises. Out of the blue, HE LAUGHED!!!! YEEEHAAA!!! It was his first REAL laugh. These last few weeks he has done that squeel thing when he wanted to laugh but was breathing in to hard and squeeked. NOPE, NOT any more. He is now officially a 'goober'. He just wont laugh or smile as much if he can see daddy. GEEE, I wonder why??????? :)

On the Other HAND....

I had a very tough time learning how to actually crochet. Mostly because I had tried to learn before when I was like 10 and I had 1/2 the patience that I don't have now. (ha) I wanted to pull my hair out and just give up. Then when I was about 7 months pregnant,( this was about Feb. This year) I decided that I was determined to learn how. It took about 3 or 4 days solid to RE-teach me how to do it all. Thing is, I'm left handed. HIP HIP, HOORAY! Ever try to teach a person how to do something left handed when you are right handed? Let me tell you, it was not pretty. Kinda glad that it was my mother teaching me though, only a mother can take what I yelled at her and all the "well crap, I'll never get it" 's and then there was the ever famous and over used phrase in my vocabulary, "FORGET IT MA. I'M DONE" But because she is my mom and I HAD to learn it this time, I finally did and it and boy it has paid off. I love it now and I can't ever put any thing down.

I have been crocheting blankets for about 6 months and all i have gotten done is 3 baby blankets, Do you know how hard it is to do anything with a 4 month old telling you that he is more important? Well, he is but, I also love to make things with my hands. it gives me a sence of accomplishment and self worth if I can make something on my own. I have made theses 2 multi-colored blankets for my son and this pink one is for a friend of mine's daughter for christmas. i am curently trying to learn how to do ponchos and other things, but like everything else in life, it takes time.

The Really Good Ones

After all these years....

Well, here I am, I have made it to 21. I am married now, 17 months and going. Life has thrown many curves at me, but I have been very reluctant to let them get me down. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, and named her Kaylee Ayana. That was on March 16th 2003. She weighed 7 lbs and 10 oz and was 19 inches. My mother is now raising her and doing a great job. Why wouldn’t she? She did, after all raise me. Well, any who ~my hubby & I are now raising a child of our own who arrived in April of this year. Cooper Kordell Alexzander Toscano. He was born on the 22nd and weighed a whopping 9 lbs 4 oz, 21 inces. He is now 3 months old and has been trying to work a tooth out on the bottom in the front for about 2 weeks. John and I are both 6ft so he had almost no chance of being an ‘average’ 7 pounder. John also has a child outside of Kordell. His name is Jade Anthony. He will be turning 10 in December. For those of you trying to do the math, John will be 29 in September of this year. We are now trying to do the hardest thing we have come to yet. BUY A HOME!! Adding to that problem, we have almost no funds and it’s getting harder and harder to find a house that doesn’t need it’s net worth of work done to it. Those of you who have been through this process, you know what I mean and to those of you going to go through this, I am apologizing now for all the pain of finding it. Other than the occasional ‘crappy’ day, everything is fine and hopefully they will stay that way for a while. ~~~I have to get but I hope that you and your family have a great and wonderful day!~~~

Hello there folks and welcome to my Blog. All about my family. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. First off, I would like you all to meet my son, Kordell. His full name is Cooper Kordell Alexzander Toscano. It's a mouthfull but we like it. He just has alot of name sakes, that's all. He was born on April 22nd 2005, at 11:22 AM. He wieghed a wopping 9lbs 4oz and was 21 inches in length. We obviuosly dont have a 'small' family. He is not gonna have a chance at being short, although there is nothing wrong with it, but his Dad and I are both 6ft tall.
I was feeding him yesterday(8-2) and his belly got full and he passed out. Sooooooo Cute!!
